Headquartered in the Ozarks, our family raises flocks of Merino cross fine wool ewes and finished market lambs, across the midwest and distributs nationally.
Our lambs are certified GrassFed through the American Grassfed Association (AGA) and Regenerative through the Savory Institute‘s Land 2 Market Program (L2M). Our team is trained and highly experienced in natural, humane, and safe livestock handling through: lambing, grazing, shearing, and transportation.
Our ranch and transporters are Beef Quality Assurance certified.
We have replacement ewe lambs, bred ewes, purebred/ registered (Merino and SAMM) rams, and finished market lambs available year round in semi loads; with various weight, certification, delivery, processing, and contract options available.
All our animals are proudly born, raised, and processed in the USA.
"My manner of living is plain, and I do not intend to be put out of it. A glass of wine and a bit of mutton are always ready."

We put a lot of work into developing a ewe that will thrive in our environment, live a long time, have excellent wool, and wean nearly two heavy lambs each that can finish on grass. We will never stop learning, but we have been amazed with what these ewes can do.
Good rams are one of the biggest contributors to amazing lambs, and to that extent we source our Merino breeding stock from the Rafter 7 Ranch in NV, and SAMM rams from the Kitzan Family in SD.
Our diverse clients have been amazed with the quality, weight, and consistency of these beautiful lambs. The flavor, texture, marbling, and yield are stunning! We raise our lambs to extra heavy weights to achieve these goals, and are members of the National Lamb Feeders Association to continue our pursuit of raising an excellent lamb!

Why wool? Check out the American Sheep Industry’s “Wool” website for neat info!
In addition to managed grazing and humane practices, we are super passionate about learning both modern and traditional methods of raising and preparing lambs for shearing and ensuring their environment promotes the best possible outcomes.
As our experience grows, we are training our team, arranging equipment and facilities to provide the best possible quality and consistency for our programs.
Clean pastures, dry bedded holding pens, pre-shear fasting, blade shearing, professional facilities, thorough fleece skirting, wool sorting and grading.
Our team is Level 1 certified for both: Sheep Safety & Quality Assurance (SSQA), and American Wool Assurance (AWA)
Between trained family members and professional crews, we strive for excellence in gleaning a premium wool crop in a low stress environment.
And while commercial efficiency is a must in our day and age, we pursue traditional craftsmanship and part of that has included learning “Blade“ shearing, which we have found is less stressful for both shearer and lamb. It can be done nearly as fast, and leaves both a well cut fleece and enough cover on the lamb for it to be comfortable.
